Fabrication
At our facilities, we have over 18,500 square feet of shop space dedicated to the construction of your sign. Having our own fabrication department onsite allows us to oversee all aspects of your sign creation, allowing us to control each and every material used in the construction of your sign. We use only the best materials available for your project. We have done so since 1939, continuing our dedication to quality.
Lighting Management
Outdoor lighting makes a statement about your business. It also provides safety and security for your customers, tenants, and employees. Let us help you maintain your image and provide safety by replacing or repairing defective lighting. Our electric service technicians are the best in the business, and experienced in providing services to fulfill your every lighting need.
Canopy and Fascia Repair
As Petroleum Identity Specialists, we offer complete canopy and building fascia installation and repair. With our experienced installers and fabricators, we have the capability to repair damaged canopy and building fascia. We can also re-image existing store fronts and canopies to your brand.
Custom Aluminum and Steel Fabrication
Our shop contains state of the art equipment allowing us to do the highest quality work in the most efficient manner. Dixie Signs is staffed with some of the area’s finest craftsmen who are capable of fabricating custom, one-of-a-kind work, to meet your specifications. We will work with you every step of the way to create the custom designed signage that is right for you.
Lighting Maintenance/ Service Agreements
Dixie Signs also offers a variety of Maintenance Agreements. Service Agreements are designed to get your sign/lighting back up to speed as quickly as possible and continue to keep it operating smoothly.

We have a fleet of more than 12 highly specialized trucks, from hydraulic cranes to drill rigs, outfitted with all of the essential equipment to serve your every need. Code Requirement Research & Permit Acquisitions
Sign ordinances differ depending on your local governing municipality. For that reason, we have our own permit specialist. Our specialist will research and determine what guidelines each ordinance requires before construction begins on your sign. We will apply for and obtain any permits necessary.
Site Surveys
It is sometimes necessary for us to visit your property to conduct a full site survey prior to construction. As part of a site survey, we will prepare a diagram of your property to determine proper placement of your sign. Measurements and pictures will be taken, and power lines and other underground utilities will be marked, as needed. This process ensures safety and minimizes disturbance to your property.
Appraisals
Hurricane damage? DOT acquisition? Need insurance quotes? We can appraise your sign, as well as give you prices on the labor to remove, relocate, or replace a sign. Our licensed sign appraisal specialist can help you on any common appraisal request.
Hi-Rise Crane and Auger Services
We are equipped to handle even those projects that require work higher than 50 feet in the air. With our high rise crane service, we have the ability to hoist both our service technicians and equipment to any height needed.
For the purpose of cast in place or precast foundations, our auger service performs vertical earth excavation to any diameter and depth required.
Sign Leasing
Choosing to lease is a smart way to acquire your business signage. Signage is an integral part of getting your business noticed but could be a strain financially. As an additional service, Dixie Signs offers a lease option for our larger sign products, through a third party provider.
